Our meetings have a structured agenda and always start at the published time and never run over. The meeting is professionally designed to give every member and visitor an opportunity to promote their business to other members in the group who have become their weekly sales team. The objective of the meetings is to provide a platform for each member to advise their sales team of the type of referrals they are looking for each week. Each member will give their elevator speech every week and one member per week will present their 10 minute presentation so that the team can gain a better understanding of each member’s business.

The Meeting Slips

The purpose of the meeting slips is to record the progress of the group members and the business generated within the group from Business meetings, Hot Leads and referrals. The three meeting record slips are:

  • Business Meeting
  • Hot Lead
  • Money In The Bank

Why we track the progress
As with any business we need to monitor how we can serve our members best by giving them the best opportunity to meet and connect with other motivated business partners within the groups. By keeping records of positive actions taken by members we can assess where certain members could benefit from additional coaching to increase their hot leads and referrals and become more valid contributing members with the groups. Our goal is to have a perfect synergy between members so that passing business will be an ongoing process.

The Business Meeting slip
Every group member is encouraged to arrange and attend a business meeting with another group member at either place of business or convenient location. The purpose of the meeting is to sit down for a minimum of one hour discussing each other business and trying to identify ways each member can provide qualified referrals to each other. After the meeting at the following group meeting the person who instigated the meeting will complete a Blue Business Meeting slip and place it in the group basket at the appropriate time in the meeting. The details are recorded as an action taken by the group member on the online progress report. Hot Lead / Referral slip
The purpose of the Hot lead /Referral slip is to record on the group progress report when one member has given a Hot Lead or Referral to another member. If a member has a Hot Lead or Referral they should contact that member immediately and relay the information. The following week the member who gave the Hot Lead or Referral should complete the Hot Lead slip and place it in the group basket at the appropriate time in the meeting. The information required on the Hot Lead slip will provide information to the group who is actively contributing to the group through leads and who is benefiting from receiving them.

 

 

Money In The Bank
The purpose of the Money In The Bank slip is to record the group’s progress by the revenue generated between group members from business transactions created from the Hot Leads / Referrals passed between members. For example John Doe gave Jane Smith a Hot lead that created business resulting in $100 for Jane Smith. The following week Jane Smith would complete a Money In The Bank slip stating “Thank you to John Doe for $100 in my bank account” This would be recorded towards John Doe as a contributing member and be totaled each week against each member together with a group total towards the progress of the group. The total transaction would be recorded not just the commission earned by the individual.
