Q. How much is it to join the leads group?
A. The costs of membership is $200 per year.  The membership term is for one year commencing on joining date. Unlike other groups we do not have hidden fees for one-off administration. Our membership fees also form a platform for discounted memberships to leading chamber of commerce’s and affiliate partner’s services.

Q. If I belong to another networking or leads group can I be part of the group?
A. Yes, we strongly encourage members of all other leads and networking groups to attend and also invite other members of your groups as a guest. We are confident in the fact that the energy, integrity and value for money cannot be matched by others. Many guests from other groups become members after their first experience with our leads/referral groups.

Q. Can I transfer from one BCCF group to another location and how much will it cost?
A. Yes, provided that your membership is in good standing and your profession is not already represented or conflicts with interest of other members within the other group you wish to transfer to, there is a cost to transfer. As from 1st April 2011 should a member wish to transfer to another group, they must be in good standing and pay a $100 transfer fee  provided  there is no conflict of interest with the existing positions within the new group. Q. Is my position locked when I join the group?
A. Yes, when you join the leads group the profession that you are representing is locked provided you remain an active member in good standing.

Q. Can I promote more than one service in the group?
A. No, when you join a leads group you can only promote the services that you have locked the position to.

Q. How do I become a member web site sponsor?
A. Web site sponsorship is offered in the form of banner adverts all costs depend on which page and size of banner required. Banner adverts must conform to the size requirements on the web page and only promote the services you promote within your group. Q. Can I belong to more than one leads group?
A. Yes, provided there is no conflict of interests and and the membership fee has been paid for the additional group.Renewal dates will be one year from joining each group.

Q. What if there is not a group near my location?
A. We are building up lists of people interested in joining the groups in all areas, if you wish to be included on the list to be notified when a new location is formed, email John McLoughlin with your full contact details, profession and location required and you will be included on any notifications.

Q. How do you track the progress of the leads group?
A. Progress is tracked weekly in each leads group to monitor the attendance, “Business Meetings” arranged, “Hot leads/ referrals” passed and “Money in the Bank” generated for the “Hot leads/referrals”. This is updated on BCCF website.

Q. Is my payment information secure?
A. Yes, we do not store credit card information or share your information via email or online. Online credit card payments are taken using our secure payment system.

Q. How many businesses can be represented in each group?
A. Each leads group will have a member limit of 50 businesses or professions represented. The meeting time for each group is 90 minutes.

Q. What if I cannot attend a meeting?
A. Contact your group Chair person and advise them ASAP, if you cannot attend the meeting we recommend you arrange a substitute. A substitute can be another member of your company, client, family member or even a member of another leads group provided they do not have a conflict of interest. If your substitute has an independent business they may also present this at the meeting provided there is no conflict of interest within the leads group. A member of your existing leads group cannot act as your substitute.

Q. Is there reserve list in the lead group if my position is filled?
A. Yes, each leads group has a reserve list for potential members; if current members are consistently absent or leave, their position can be opened for your application.
